Shipping Your Engine
REMANUFACTURED LONG BLOCKS
Due to EPA regulations more and more truck lines are refusing to ship "used"
engines that are not in a closed container. Hydrocarbons in our ground water is one of the
top five environmental hazards to our health. We solved this problem as it relates to our
engines.
RePower Automotive Engines ships most of its remanufactured engines in EPA approved
plastic shipping containers. These 2 piece shipping containers are designed just for our
business and exclusive to us.
Engines that are shipped on a pallet or any open skid subjects your engine to damage by
freight companies. We all know how truck lines handle merchandise. It only takes a small
amount of pressure to move a valve or knock a bearing out of alignment. If this happens
you will never get the life from your engine that you require.
Each container has hand rails for easy unloading and loading. No fork lift is necessary
for loading or unloading of most our engines. This can be done by 2 persons.
No oil spillage,
just put your old engine in our container and it’s ready to ship back to us.
RePower ships it’s remanufactured engines from all factory distributions centers
(see branch locations).
Shipments are made by common carrier
during business hours and someone must be at the location where we ship
your engine.
